Beacon Communications worked with client ATL Ultrasound, and their partners NASA and Lockheed Martin to bring attention to a cutting edge project that would put a reconfigured ultrasound system into the International Space Station. Beacon Communications had responsibility for placing news and feature articles in the healthcare media and beyond. Results turned out to be exceptional with national television exposure, coverage in healthcare publications such as Radiology Management and engineering journals such as Product Design & Development magazine. ATL Ultrasound benefitted from coverage of this exceptional endeavor while adding appreciable value to the partnership.
JHD Group, American Medical Group Association
With the growing importance of Electronic Health Records (EHRs) use by providers, Beacon saw an opportunity for healthcare consulting client JHD Group to partner with the American Medical Group Association to survey their membership about EHR adoption and implementation. Beacon conceived the study, and brought the organizations together to establish this important industry survey tool. Beacon worked alongside them from its inception, through development and dissemination of results . This latter came in the form of high profile industry news articles, webinars, speaking engagements and partner by-lined articles. The publicity it stimulated has brought both organizations attention, prestige and positioned them positively before this important healthcare market segment. The survey was conceived and designed to be updated at regular intervals providing the partners with an annuity of exposure. Not unimportantly, the healthcare industry also benefits from valuable information about this important practice management tool.
UPS, Pace
The success of a partnership between UPS and the Chicago suburban transport authority PACE bus service to move inner city workers to a UPS consolidation hub relied heavily on getting the word out about the program to attract workers, but also positioning UPS as an employer of choice among workers and community leadership. Beacon Communications took the lead with UPS, community leaders including a well known congressman working together bring attention and important third party validation to program. Articles in the Chicago Tribune, television coverage and national exposure in national Human Resources publications brought the needed exposure, validation and credibility to the effort. UPS got the workers it needed, and workers the jobs they needed which was made possible by this innovative jobs transportation plan.
